The SRS Museum occupies the former Dibble Memorial Library building. The Dibble Library was Aiken’s first dedicated library building, named for prominent Aiken banker Henry M. Dibble.
The original library’s architecture and design have remained intact in the museum’s foyer, though the building as since expanded.
